My First Fredericton Crop

I went to my first crop in Fred Town back in January...which was kinda scary for me because I tend to be kinda shy. I do like, however, how all of us at crops have one common interest ~scrapbooking~ which makes it easier to start a conversation. "Oh, wow...I love that! How's you do that?!" etc, etc. People tend to respond well to complements, especially if they are genuine (duly noted). teeheehee.
Usually at a crop there will be at least some sort of group challenge. This is the result of a Layout (LO) challenge. I find challenges like this particularly hard for me, since I just go with the flow when I'm scrappin'...however, I love how this turned out!

This is my nephew, Jamal, whom I miss dearly (he's now living in Edmonton with my sister). He's super cute...but like the LO says...Don't be fooled by his smile! He seems to be always up to something...or has that look in his eye and you know that he's devising a plan! Woauh-ha-ha-ha (evil laugh). Man! I miss that kid!
